I’m Haron Forteau, founder of HF Media. I’m a creative at heart — a photographer, and storyteller who has spent over a decade capturing moments that matter. My camera has taken me from small community grounds to some of the biggest sporting stages in the world, and I’ve been blessed to work with brands and organizations like Straffon Images, Associated Press, and many local and regional partners.

Over the years, I’ve covered everything from grassroots sports tournaments, 2025 World Athletic Championships, Regional sports meets, corporate events, and more. I’ve seen champions crowned, world records broken, first time celebrations, the pride of a community rallying behind their own, and the quiet satisfaction of a job well done. These are moments that deserve to be preserved and shared.

I started this blog as a space to go beyond social media -- sharing beyond the algorithm. Don’t get me wrong. Facebook and Instagram have their place, but we’ve all seen what happens when they go down or change the rules overnight, so many great stories get lost amidst the wealth of data outside, so the best way to do that is through a different platform!

Here, I can share full stories, behind-the-scenes insights, and images without worrying about algorithms or outages.

It’s about building a network and a home for my work that lasts. Also, sports media is more than just pointing a camera at the action. For me, it’s about telling the story behind the scoreboard, illustrating the culture, the grind, the people who make it all happen. Whether it is a paralympian training on home soil or a young athlete chasing their first medal, these are the moments I live to capture. Because one day, these images won’t just be photos -- they’ll be history.
